Envy Shay Identified as Victim in Fatal Eagle Ridge Shooting in Forney; Police Search for Two Suspects
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that left one person dead at a residence in the 300 block of Eagle Ridge.
Family and loved ones identified the victim as Envy Shay.
According to police, officers responded to the area following reports of a shooting and discovered one person had been killed. Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities are searching for two suspects who were last seen in the area of Eagle Ridge, Van Buren, and Cisco. Police believe the suspects may have fled the scene in a vehicle following the shooting.
The Forney Police Department provided the following descriptions of the suspects:
- One suspect was described as a Black male approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall, wearing all-black clothing.
- The second suspect was described as a taller, lighter-skinned Black male wearing a gray shirt and a black mask.
Residents in the area were advised to remain alert, avoid the immediate scene, and cooperate with officers as the investigation continues.
